This place recently opened and I love it. Try the Boca veggie crumbles in place of ground beef! I'm not a vegetarian but I was very impressed. I had never tried them before and they are an actually passable, and delicious alternative to ground taco meat. Throw a little salsa on there for some added yum. The chips and queso are quite good too.
The line can get a little long at lunch, but if you expect anywhere in Collierville to not be swamped at 12 you're delusional. It can also get loud at lunch (head's up for parents of youngsters who are sensitive to noise) but there's outdoor seating that's quieter. Overall, Salsarita's is a welcome addition to the Collierville food scene. -

This is my second time coming to this location. I love Mexican food so I just wanted something quick so I came here. The reason for the 3 stars is in the below. It would have received a 5 but that was impossible due to customer service.
The first young man was very nice....he asked us what we wanted and had a smile. Once he passed the bowl to the next associate here is where I had issues. First of all he was very dry and angry sounding. I am not asking you to jump over the moon but act like you like some part of your job. I told him I wanted chicken and steak for the first bowl and shrimp and steak for the second. I also asked him to give me extra meat and I will pay for it. He threw that meat in the bowl like he was dunking a basketball. Then he asked me in a nasty tone mild, medium or hot salsa. I told him what type.....so he then slides my food down to the next associate.
This was problem associate number 2. She looks at me asked what fresh ingredients do you want in a nasty tone. Keep in mind she has to redo the customer's food in front me because she dropped his chips and queso. I found both their attitudes very unprofessional. We don't only pay for good food at restaurants but we also pay for the service.
OAN the food was EXCELLENT!! -

Let me start by saying that I don't make a habit out of leaving negative reviews, but this one is necessary.
We arrived at 7:55pm -Google said the restaurant closed at 9p and no employee mentioned they were closing early. At 8p, there was a msg over the overhead speaker saying they were closing, followed within a minute by a msg saying "GET OUT NOW". That msg was followed by the song "move b*tch, get out the way" and several over songs full of profanity. I was there with my 3yr old and 7yr old. All of this happened before 8:10pm.
My family has never been treated more disrespectfully. We could have been loyal customers, but now we will never be back. My advice- save your hard earned money and don't eat at Salasaritas! -

We love Salsaritas and my wife & I were excited to finally get one in the Memphis area. We stopped in for a late dinner tonight around 7pm. The food was good, but that's where this positive review ends unfortunately.
I don't know who is managing this location, but it did not at all live up to the standard that we have experienced at other Salsaritas and needs some serious attention.
The server had an attitude like they didn't want to be there, the majority of the (fresh ?) ingredients were empty and I saw no effort to restock them. The server prepared my tacos very sloppily with no effort made to make them with consistency or quality. Fortunately, they tasted good despite their sloppy presentation.
And, the restrooms were "gas station" filthy like they hadn't been cleaned in days.
I still love Salsaritas but I may not return to this location if management doesn't fix these issues. -

Another example of what could be good but due to lack of "caring", it just isn't. You go in and place your order and move down the line to add ingredients to your food. The food area was NASTY!!! Food was everywhere and they weren't busy so there was time for the employees to clean. The queso was a big glob of thickness. I originally wanted a salad but the lettuce was extra brown. So I ended up getting a bowl with chicken. I added a glob of Mexican rice and some old looking black beans. We had to pick through to find some decent lettuce. It was just terrible. For this to be a new place, I am certainly disappointed. All the bottles of hot sauce that are out were either empty or so nasty you didn't wanted to touch them. Just yuck!!!!!
